Latest Developments

We want to take this opportunity to let customers know that hot tub use is safe.

We adhere to the strictest controls for the sanitisation of all our equipment. Each hot tub is subject to a rigorous cleaning programme set out by the trade association that represents our industry, The British & Irish Spa & Hot Tub Association (BISHTA).

BISHTA has sought clarity from Public Health England on any potential risks posed by spa use. Their response is clear and is as follow;

‘Coronavirus would be inactive at the levels of chlorine used in swimming pools and spas. Water and chlorine will help kill the virus.’

This is also mirrored by Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), who state;

There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection  with chlorine and bromine of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.

However, we must stress the importance of the interactions between hot tub users while in close proximity. Where possible it is advisable to restrict the number of simultaneous users to maintain a reasonable distance and keeping contact to an absolute minimum.
